We dragged the kids out of bed and took our tuk tuk to Angkor for the sunrise. Emerson noted that it was the first time any of the kids woke to see the sun come up. As you can see, she is really excited to get up early!

Nonetheless, worth the effort…

This little girl (about 4 years old) was walking around in red high heels on a steep incline that led to the river. An older girl was with her (she was about 6.) In the town, you saw kids Lennon’s age (5) walking their younger siblings across crazy busy streets. I wanted to go help them, but they could navigate better than I could.

None of us tried the snails- but Jesse is thinking about it.
