Jesse and Maddux went hiking one day and went all the way to the clouds. Maddux said that the clouds felt wet.

“We wanted to go touch the clouds, so we did.” – jesse and maddux
In our friends’ killer chalet in Verbier Switzerland
If I could build a house some day, I’d copy the Huss’ blueprints! I just don’t like big homes for us. Seems like everyone is always in the same room anyways. While traveling, we are a little walking amoeba. We even sleep like a pack of dogs! Sometimes some of us even use a bit of discretion while using the bathroom- pretty classy, huh?! Perception changes considerably after seeing strangers taking poopers in India. I used to get grossed out when drivers in neighboring cars were going to town digging all up in their noses. I’ll take that any day rather than seeing someone squat, dump, pull pants up and continue onward. (Whew! Sorry about the tangent there. I must still be processing. Ha!)
Ew!!!! Came across a picture of my “India Feet”
I recently posted a picture of Maddux’s hiking feet. When I was looking through old photos yesterday- I found a picture of my feet from India. Wowsers!

The woman living at the monkey temple put jewelry on my feet and said it signified that I was a married woman. I don’t think anyone has been eyeing me or my feet on this trip! (Check out the fly on my leg- there were flies everywhere. Sometimes, we’d be talking to someone while flies were walking all over their face and they didn’t seem to mind at all.)
Maddux’s hiking feet
Maddux is our hiking master! He never wants to stop. He loves nature and can spot things a mile away. He is a fun trekking buddy! Check out his feet- he even persevered through the pain! Whenever one of us asks if we should stop or turn around, he’ll say “Are you kidding me!?!? This is awesome!”
Amy and Jeff Frieburg! You guys out there?!?!
I found your town here in Switzerland. It is really quaint and classy- unlike yourselves. Just kidding. Thought of you the whole afternoon. Hope you and the family are happy and healthy! Love!
Do you remember the Southeast Asia tuk tuks? These are very different!
Bern – a city with lots of fountains!
The city is known for having 15 (I think that’s how many)- fountains dating back to the 16th century. They are attributed to a Swiss Renaissance sculptor named Hans Gieng.
