The Bridge of Sighs in Venice
The bridge behind the kids is the Bridge of Sighs. It is an enclosed bridge made of white limestone that passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in Doge’s Palace. It was built in 1602.

I spy with my little eye…a winged lion!
The Lion of Saint Mark, representing the evangelist St Mark, pictured in the form of a winged lion, is the symbol of the city of Venice. It was fun to play ‘I spy’ because they are everywhere!

The Rialto Bridge (Italian: Ponte di Rialto) is one of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal. It is the oldest bridge across the canal.
