In some of places we have visited- water is quite scarce. People have to walk miles carrying large jugs. In Italy, you are never too far from a quick drink which is great because we get thirsty wandering around all day. (Check out the fish market tent behind Maddux. There are little shops like this all around the city. If you feel like fresh seafood- you would be in luck!)

This place was perfect with two small rooms, two bathrooms and a little kitchenette. The complex also had a pool. Everyone was happy.

Maybe I like the city so much because some of my ancestors were from here!

We all really liked Venice. We wandered around aimlessly and always came to a place worth seeing. The colors, the canals, the food, the art… Definitely a place we will want to visit again.
