Our sick room in Pokhara Nepal- pretty fancy, huh?!
Sandal pair #2 has bit the dust! Check out Lennon’s face in the picture- pretty much sums up how we were all feeling! Still recovering from India and illness.
We all got up for sunrise, but only Jesse was able to trek that day
Man! We were all pretty sick that day- I was still recovering from my Ganges sickness and the kids all had colds. Jesse went on about a 5 hour trek with a young guy name Batiste who is putting his younger siblings through college. They had good conversation while seeing the beautiful country of Nepal.
Views of the Himalayas from Pokhara, Nepal & a visit to the Peace Pagoda
Tibetan Prayer Flags- sending positive energy your way!
Tibetan Prayer Flags are used to promote peace, compassion and wisdom. It is believed the energy of the prayers and sacred mantras on the flags are blown in the wind and will bring joy, happiness and good health to all who see them as well as their families, loved ones, neighbors, and all people throughout the world.
Cremation at sunset

For people who can’t get to Varanasi (in India) to have their bodies burned and their ashes put into the Ganges- this will have to do. This river eventually makes it’s way into the sacred river.
