Animal sacrifice is an everyday occurrence in Nepal. One morning while we were wandering around Kathmandu, we came across a slaughtered buffalo and numerous pools of blood around the city. Apparently, they see this as a “positive” for the animal- releasing it from it’s suffering while giving an offering to the gods. Hmmm….. (?)
