The Belfry of Bruges

The belfry of Bruges, or Belfort, is a medieval bell in Brugge Belgium. The belfry formerly served as an observation post for spotting fires and other danger. 366 steps up a narrow, steep staircase leads to the top of the 83-metre-high building, which leans a little to the east. The boys went up the tower while I meandered around the town square. Good lord! When will the rain stop?!

  1. Allie- no, we didn’t hear anything about the cats but I did look it up and it seems weird. 🙂 I’m more of a dog person. Can’t believe I’ll see you and your little chublet of a baby. Excited to see Sefan, too. Much fun will be had by all, my friend! Love!

I think that is the tower that the guy fell out of in the movie, In Bruges. Very dark comedy. Funny, if you like to see guys falling out of towers…
